chances are you will be fine
a kilowatt is good sized, personal choice type of thing
but not big enough to really create a red flag
acts of god(aka as satan) are the risk
fire in the apartment, inspection, etc.
that's where some kind of breakdown plan is needed
you can never cut all the risk, but keep it as small as possible
