Coming along well mate, nice work SouP

I KNOW dude these girls are BUSHY, Im sorta used to growing tree looking plants...so Ive found my self walking into the tent with snips in hand (ready to do some thinning I swearDamn bro they are bushy as hell hey! Getting some big fat leaves on them too![]()
Thanks Chipper! should see what I can begin to expect in a few weeks!, buy if you rub a stem or two together you get a stcky feeling between your fingers that smells like fresh Happiness if you could buy it bye the pound! I am getting some hopes for the turn out...Still too early to say of course...-S0uPComing along well mate, nice work SouP![]()
Thanks stone, its good to hear encouraging words from a seasoned scrogger. This is the first time Im trying to fit some plants into a real tight space like this (Usually spoiled with more room than I know what to do with) so its definitely a learning run. Next time I think Ill just keep them running under the screen instead of weaving them in and out, I cant tell you how many potential bud sites Ive snapped off. The stretch really depends on the strain in my experience. Ive had some plants, NL crosses in particular that just explode on the flip and didnt stop stretching till week 4 or 5. Ive also had some OG crosses that while supposed to be lanky, stretched maybe 6" or so and just stopped in their tracks week 2. We will see...but it doesnt look like Im in danger of running out of space so that is reassuring I guess...Thanks for stoppin in, your grow is looking great by the way!Looks like they are branching really nice, just not alot of stretch to this strain by the looks of it. Your still early into flower and the second week usually brings alot of stretch for me.
I know meh! You even had some colas get away from you in there!Looking real good Soup![]()
Agree with Stoneslacker, the second week is where i saw a HEAP of stretch with mine![]()

Well Im certainly hoping for some good ganja fortune... so thanks for the vote of confidence!Nah don't underestimate it bro, you'll end up with some chunky ass colas as well hey, just keep stretching those branches out, i think you'll be surprised. I really didnt think mine would stretch as much as they did. Is your light up as far as it can go? I put mine up straight away and thats why she stretched, if you do the same, they'll reach to the light![]()
Thanks chipper! Ya man I usually flower with a MH for the first 10-14 days but I decided to keep the HPS in once I had tamed the temp concerns....prolly a good thing huh??Early days yet SouP, magic will still happen!! This current run of mine I left the light in a fixed position. When start of growing the distance from canopy to light would be around 1100mm. I found this quite good for getting my plants to stretch out from the start, and makes for easier training. I only use HPS lighting which helps also i think. The strain of plant also has a heap to do with it, I grew a white rhino which had fat leaves like your plants, and that always grew into a thick bushy little plant. Best of luck mate![]()
I wasnt trying to start an argument in that other thread on your behalf BTW Chipper!Talk about temperature!! As you have been reading, I struggle with mine. It is getting colder now which is great!
I have not fixed my plumbing yet, plants only have 10 day left. So I was thinking changing it up to a straight 22mm return line. Should fix it?
I would like to get some more pressure into to my water rings. Would running a 19mm hose out of my water pump and then reducing it down to 13mm just before my water rings increase pressure? I dont really want to buy another pump!
How is your grow doing mate?
Whats up dude?? I was giving them like 7ml/Gallon of protekt which is roughly 3 times your application rate in addition to using it as a ph upSoup how much silica r u giving ur ladies?? I'm sure u have more experience then me but I only feed my lady 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. Anyways, I hope that discontinuing silica fixes ur problem bro. Good luck
Hey easty! It should be pretty close when it comes down to filling that screen! But hey, if the canopy isnt perfectly even it will be okay...I could always stake bud sites that need support. Im not seeing as many dominant bud sites as I would have hoped for but this is my first Scrog so Ill chalk it up to a learning experienceStarting to really fill out there man, wont be long before they take up that screen![]()
Damn, i dont think ive ever seen leaves that colour dude, almost has a blue tinge to it hey. Very dark green though![]()
Yeah man it will be pretty damn close hey! Bit of extra support would be sweet if they need it, heres hoping they do lol.Whats up dude?? I was giving them like 7ml/Gallon of protekt which is roughly 3 times your application rate in addition to using it as a ph up, but this was some what intentional as I knew that 200w/Sqft is A LOT of intensity and I was anticipating potential heat problems. Silica, as you know Im sure, helps the plant deal with various issues including heat stress and light intensity.... If you do research into Silica toxicity in plant life there is little to no information available. Some even state that you CANT give too much silica to a plant, this goes against everything I know about nature though, as too much of any substance in my experience, no matter how vital ie. air and water will prove fatal at some dose. I am living proof to be modest in your application rates with any food you feed your plants! Right now Im experiencing some deformed leaf formation and the gaps you see in the leaves pictured above, all in all they will live!
I still have hopes for a successful harvest! Thanks for stoppin bye! -S0uP

If you look at there webpage for the strain they have a pic with the same color leaves on a few huge bushes....I like it
I hope some of those colors come through at the end of flower although I dont ever seem to be able to get my lights off temps low enough to make any difference! How are your plants bro? Should be gettin pretty close right? They were looking damn good the last time I saw them! -S0uP
