People - I'm about 7 weeks into flower (white wodow) and on tuesday this week I lost power to my girls for 3 days and 3 nights. The scum bag pikeys nicked my expensive power cable leading to my grow room. THey dug it out of the ground and stole over £4000 worth of cable...I managed to get them back on to 12/12 after losing 3 days. How is this going to effect thema such a crucila time?

Any advice or suggestion of what to do? They look ok but worried they may start to die in a few days time...

Well, you will leave cable on show when copper prices are up. The travelers will have anything away you don't nail down.

Hope your plants arn't too badly affected.

Well, working it out at the current copper value in the UK (£3500 per ton) that would indicate he has had about a ton stolen..... which is a lot of cable.

your plants weren't exposed to 3 days of constant light, which might revert to veg', but 3 days of dark, no problem. now these 'travellers'- I'm assuming english english for bums, or transients...(we have tweekers.) because I've been a taveller all my adult life; except in the context- traveller vs. tourist-major difference! anyway, maybe some electric cattle fence booby trap is in order...we'll have to get 'Q' (007)on this one!

They are well known as thieves, but I know a few travelers who aren't like that. There's always been a prejudice against them, and for the ones that do wrong its for good reason. But there are some good ones out there...... very family orientated people, and very much closed off to gorgers (traveler talk for a house dwelling individual).

The thread seems to have took a twist onto what a pikey / traveller is and the focus gone from the most inmportant issue which is to how affected my plants are from 3 days darkness.

This thread was no way intended to insult the average traveller / pikey but the scum bags around here will steal the hair from your head in your sleep given the chance. The cable was very well hidden (dug over a foot under ground) so they knew and planned what they were doing very well. It wasnt the only thing taken fron the area that night apparently.

Anyway - I'm guessing my girls will be fine as people seem more interested in the 4grand cable thats been nicked. I'm not... i'm just worried about my project going tits up nearing my first harvest.

fuck man, if you can afford 4g of cable then you sure as hell better be able to afford an awesome setup.
