I've been growing out this girls gear for 3 seasons now. She's a 3rd gen farmer/breeder and has been nothing less than a godsend to my garden. Her mendobreath line is straight fire, This year she sent me some of her f7 family genetics. I was looking for an early finisher and she said her father used to regularly pull down between 10-15 lbs of the sweetest, stickiest fruit per plant in late September with these beans The family name for the strain is Daddy's Girl, but I think she releases those beans under the name Fruit Loops. She also sent me some Lemon Ghost OG, she told me she thought they were some of her best work. At this point, I've learned to just say thank you and grow what she recommends. So again this year as these plants begin to flower I just have to smile and say thank you. I'm still smoking her dosi breath I grew out 2 years ago. I renamed it Good Night Irene because 2 hits in (and I'm a 56 year old professional stoner) and it's a pillow across my face and lights out. Great night time meds. I've got 3 in this years garden.
This is the Daddy's Girl. Picture taken Aug 20th. She'll be in flower for 9 weeks on Sept 21st. If I'm lucky, she may not see a single raindrop this fall before the chop.
Daddy's Early Girl or Fruit Loops. These are f7's and all from seed, they could almost pass for clones. Very little variance and super stable. In 4 years I've never seen a hermie since I began running her gear. She's the real deal fellas.
Lemon Ghost OG. If you're wondering why I clean up those lowers, about 4 years ago I found a 16" rattlesnake hiding under a big plant, had it not been for my dog warning me, I'd have been in trouble. The whole garden gets pruned up ever since. I want to be able to see what's hiding under the plant from a few feet away, besides, I hate trimming smalls.
Lemon Ghost OG flower at about 4 weeks. Hard to tell from the pictures, but these girls are everything she said they'd be. Hands down the most odoriferous plants I've ever had in my garden. I'm weeks away from chop and the smell is already at paranoia stage 3. I've never had a breeder take such interest in my garden and my success as a farmer. It's taken a few years to find the perfect combination for this garden, and she's been there every step of the way to help me figure it out. I grow in the Northern CA foothills, she's in Mendo, so even though we're in the same State, we're in totally different climates. She's got something for every grower. You won't find her at a seedbank, but you can check out her work on instagram @ryder7788.
