My first time here..
I've been growing for more than a year now. I have a mother that has been reveged and a clone from it. A few weeks ago I noticed strange rusty brown spots on the youngster. I tought it was rootbound maybe a bit cause the repotting was delayed. After that I repotted it into a bigger pot with fresh 6.6 ph soil. Usually I try to not overwater my plants, but since the cold weather has came, maybe the balance of my routine of waiting for the soil to be more dry and watering only than has been fluctuated a bit (due to slower evaporation because of lower temps) Anyway I waited till the top of the soil looked dry enough, and only than I watered the clone. Recently I've realized that the brown spots have spread upward and now the top leaves started to develop the same spots on the tips. The top leaves are clawing too. Today I've realized that the mother plant have started to develop the same symptoms with nukeburn like tips and those rusty spots all over and clawing top leaves. The mother is fed with Canna Terra Vega, but I think in reasonable amounts to avoid toxicity.. (and not with every watering).. Because the mother have started to develop the same symptoms and the two are in separeted boxes but share the air in a cupboard with no back I suspect maybe its a fungal infection ? Alternaria is the one with similar dry, rusty, brown spots that I've found. But I'm confused now..What the fuck could it be? Lock out? Deficiency? Overwatering? Root rot? The fans are on 24/7 since the hotter days of summer...But now with colder nights maybe its too much? (however I use pc fans...) Oh, and I use CFLs
