what do you reckon, i initially thought it was light burn, but it is only happening on the older leaves, am I right in thinking its a defficieny? Maybe lack of magnesium? Also noticed some sticky glossy looking stuff appears on the leaves, which I think then proceeds turn yellow or rusty

I use coco so I feed them a bit everyday, but the problem started when I wasn't really giving them any, I then stopped and it kept on getting worse. I'm not on 12/12 yet, am going to switch soon, how will that affect the plant?

I've also started adding epsom salts, any idea what the sticky stuff is? Here is a picture of how it looks at the before it goes rusty.

Stop !!!!!! Dont Flush, That Looks More Like A Fungus Attack !! Your Best Bet Is To Remove The Plant Immediately Away From The Others... I Had The Same Problem Before, I Was Growing 3 Plants, All In Veg. And In Like The 3rd Week One Of My Plants Startet Those Mini Cigar Burns With Random Yellowing Spots On Leaves, I Flushed, Didnt Feed Nutes For A Week, Nothing, It Stoped Growing, So I Decided To Remove From The Other Plants, Cannot Be A Nute Burn Because The Other Two Are Fine And Continued To Grow While The Sick One Kept Getting Worse... Definitely Fungie Attack

how do I cure it if it is a fungie attack? It is affecting all three of my plants, one pretty badly, another quite a bit, and the third more indica looking plant not as much. would a fungie attack not affect all of the leaves equally though? my problem is definately with older leaves...

damn, thats lame! What if I keep on growing? Will it not produce reasonable bud? Or am I best of cutting my losses?

yeah, thats hopefully I've started flushing, so hopefully I'll see an improvement. How long did it take for your plants to stop doing this?

i flushed twice, couple days apart. i noticed that with the first flush, it wasn't improving much. bottom leaves were still browning and dying; and it seemed to be affecting my top leaves too (which means it'll probably kill the damn thing since it just started growing pretty much). i lost all my bottom set of leaves. :( but the top ones are now doing okay. hopefully that last flush did it.

fungus or spider mites. There are soaps to spray on, or take one for the team and kill the one plant.

unfortunately all 3 have it now so I guess if the flushing doesn't work, I'll try for the soaps, what should I search for, any brandnames?

looks kinda like spidermites dude, i mean... i'm gonna assume it's not but check the undersides of ALL the leaves and see if you see ANY little dudes movin around there. Those would be the cause of the yellow spots. It also looks like a nute burn. Perhaps a combo but either way check both of those things.
