“Rust” spot on one branch of my biggest plant started

2ECDDE7B-1DBA-49AB-AF5D-544B881625E8.jpeg I found these rust spots on only one branch of my best plant, I am guessing a cal mag deficiency but i add 4ml cal mag ever time I feed (every other watering) along with my other nutes. I use well water for all my waterings and I have just recently started giving this plant 3 gallons instead of 2. I add 2ml ph down wether I’m adding nutes or not because I’ve grown perfectly good dope with a ph of 9, but my ph should be around 7

What medium is this in? It is calcium deficiency. Do you have any idea what the TDS of your well water is?

Either calcium/magnesium deficiency, OR your pH is off to the point where the plant can't transport calcium/magnesium through the plant. If your pH is good, then it's a deficiency. Add some CaliMag. If it's your pH, adjust accordingly. But, that's IF there's even an issue to begin with. Read on...

During your grow, some leaves are going to die. It isn't an indicator of something being wrong, just a plant being a plant. Now, if you had several leaves that look like this, then I'd say you should take some action. But, this just looks like normal growth, so I would just watch for other leaves.

Bottom line, it's fine. Don't try to adjust anything.
 
Also, damaged leaves will not repair themselves, so don't think that because the leaf isn't turning back to full green, that there's any sort of problem.

BTW, what are you growing in? A pH of 9 is too high, and your plants will suffer. Think they've been growing just fine with that pH? Just think of how much better they'd do with the correct pH. Uber important!!!!

Unless you're growing in Coco, you really shouldn't be adding extra calcium/magnesium when it isn't needed. Too much of one nutrient will make other nutrients less effective, as Cal/mag will be in abundance. You can also get root lock from adding too much.
 
Don't mean to keep adding to your post, but it's possible that you already have nutrient lockout, and your plant may be feeding off the reserves in the leaves, which would make the leaves change colors like that.

Just a thought. Just adjust your pH and watch the other leaves.

I keep my ph around 7 for this grow, I was referring to other plants I’ve grown were I didn’t ph the water at all and the ph was around 9. I believe this is from ph fluctuation because the plant was watered with un phed water once by mistake to get it through a hot day. I keep my ph at 7 then it got watered with 9 and didn’t like it. This plant has been the most vigorous grower of them all so I don’t believe it is locked out or deficient

Nah, pH swing looks different, and you would see much more widespread symptoms. Also, a single watering of higher pH probably wouldn't have any impact on the plant.

I wouldn't worry at all. Probably just a random dying fan. You can even just snip it. I wouldn't take any action at all, unless you see further symptoms.
