I recently set up a 2x4.5x8 foot closet with 2 400w systems set up inline with cooltubes and a 6" fan venting into the attic. My whole setup is homemade, and with both 400 watters on the heat becomes an issue. I can regulate this heat when I am home by drastically lowering ambient temps, adjusting fans, ect.
My question is will it hurt the plants to only run 1 of the lights while I am on vacation/away for a few days? Seems to me like this wouldn't be an issue because 400w in that space is still fairly intense light, but I just want to make sure. With one light on the room stays at like 75 degrees with the door closed completely. It would only be for maybe 10 days of the entire grow. Also am I losing a ton of light if I open one of the sliding doors roughly an inch to increase airflow? Thanks in advance.
