Running ducting from one tent to another?

Good morning folks,

Quick question.

Have 2 tents. 1 for veg , 1 for flower. Obviously will have different light cycles.

I would like to run ducting from one tent to the other. But I don't want the light from veg to enter or refract into the flower tent. I've heard you just need a 45• angle ?

Anyone have any experience with this ?

Thank you for the response. But I am actually using passive intake. So my fan that's in flower will be pulling the air from the veg tent through the ducting into my flower which will flow through my carbon filter. That fan is more then powerful enough to clear both rooms.

In that case, yes a bend will stop light.
But what about heat exchange into the flower area? And the air wont be 100% fresh. Fresh air exchange is important.

Could run a filter over a y splitter for intake and outtake and oversize your fan to cause negative pressure in both tents if they are the same general cu ft size.

You could just get some cheap intake fans though for each tent.
