after reading post after post on dwc(bubblers) i decided to give it a go.I used a dark blue 3 gal rubbermaid storage tub, a 12 inch air stone , a whisper air pump, 3 inch net pot and hydroton. its been five days and the clone i put in grew about 2 inches now and looks great. it was real simple and if it works out like ive seen ill be real happy.

It should work just fine....nice job.

Question...What color is the tub? The darker the better. You dont want your roots exposed to light.

your roots look beautiful. I might just have to try this set up for myself..
I dont know about that... My roots looked like that when my lid was just bare. When i covered.. my roots started to get bright white and very tight and almost looked like small twigs with little ridges. when ur roots sag its not good.

When i took out my male... i tried to pull off the roots.. and i couldn't they were so strong. 1 strand of root held a lot of preasure..

Those lids cant block light for shit man... cover it with tape or somthing.. light IS getting through that lid.. Believe me.

Nice. Good move there. If u wanna be extra safe u can also cover the res too. But I think u should be fine. I found that buying anything black is the best idea when it comes to light proof. Keep us posted on the grow. Good luck!!!
