RSO for cancer in Bay Area

I'm in the bay area and my I would like to make RSO. Question: should I use trimmings (relatively inexpensive) or use flower (more costly). Also is there an optimal strain, indicia VS sativa, for cancer? Medical effectiveness is my primary concern, but I still have to balance the realities of economics.

My daughter has Medicann so if anyone can supply me a lb every 2 months in the bay area, please message me. Thank you so much from the support of this forum!

Rick (and many others) show how to make it on youtube. I make it for my niece in Oregon who has GBM. The challenge here in California is getting pure grain alcohol. I typically have to stock up while I am up there and drive it back to CA. I have been told that you cannot even get it in NV anymore

As for what strain is best for her just try a few strains and have her tell you. Otherwise it is a crap shoot. I would use flowers if she is not a smoker. If she is a smoker then use sugar trim or larf. Of course be smart and balance it all out economically.

Thank you for advice and help. I made RSO using trimmings once before but without lab testing it I can't confirm it's potency. A few friends and I sampled it for recreational purpose and it was hard to say one way or another. Now that I feel confident brewing RSO, I will up it by trying Indica whole buds. And yes I got some 200-proof from Oregon and shipping was outrageous!

They outlawed Everclear in Nevada? Bitch! I've been looking for some kind of legal and "safe" ethanol for extracts and the strongest I've found in California so far is 80 proof vodka. Guess I'll have to drive to Oregon. :roll:
