Royal Dwarf is a skunk cross and is quite smelly. Mine stayed 9'' in a 1/2 gallon pot and yielded a bit under a half ounce. I picked a bit early in my opinion and I believe it could have turned out better. I liked it so much I started five more.

Cheers man! these are my first autos Royal Queens seeds "royal Dwarf" and "northern lights" used to growing Fems so i really have no clue what to expect,

1/2 ounce seems little low alright? i mean what is your tipical yield from Autos? i think i will keep these two going anyway just for the experience, and the fact you said its decent smoke is a bonus even if yeilds are low, i still have 3 fems goinig along side um "Acid" from paradise seeds (also a freebee) and "blueberry" & "mazzar" both from Dutch passion that i will be cloning so if things arent good at least i can make up for it nxt time round,

How far in are your new batch? would like to see pics if you got any?

Thanks again for the info m8!

anyone else like to contribute feel free guys! cheers

My new batch are about three weeks from seed. The average yield of an auto varies. 1/2 ounce is a bit light but it was a 9'' plant in a 1/2 gallon pot. CFL veg kept it really short with little side branching. I'll post some updated pics in my signature thread soon.

actually yea sorry didnt think bout how much it yeilded for its size not bad thinking bout it,

how big can autos get? my fems are usually bout 3-4 feet by the end, could these get to the same size if i treat them the same as the fems?

also i usually top my ladies twice during the veg cycle, but im not sure if its a good idea with these i read alot on here that its not good to top an auto?

Cheers again man, look forward to seeing your gals, not sure exactly how far from germination mine are but the shell has just come off the other day an the first little serated leaves are starting to grow,

vegging under 80w of 4ft daylight strip bulbs, will be flowering with a 400w hps, be nice to compare pics throughout the grow man

yup they are card reduce reuse recycle or whatever lol! yes cheers for the tip on mould, i've grown like this before and incountered a bit of mould the first time round but it was due to over-watering them more than anything, ive learned to not water so much since then, but even the one that did get mouldy once repotted mould disapeared and had no effect on my gals at all,

all these little ladies have been kept nice and dry only enuff to get the medium moist and then dry again, (which is an mix of soil &pearlite/vermiculite at a ratio of 3:2 Soil so plenty of air and drying) and will all be re-potted into proper plastic buckets in about a week or two,

Big ty for the heads up though you are certainly right in saying that cardboard pots is a good way to start mould if your not carefull so cheers man!

Cheers for the repy man, Are you saying that i shouldnt feed the autos till flowering and they tend to be more cal/mag hungry? im using the ionics range of nutes there Bloom Grow Boost & Formulex, they are pretty decent with there trace elements eg cal/mag etc they are made from natural materials eg ground up rock and wat not, so i guess i could add something organic and sweet to the mix as these work with organic ferts unlike chemicals,

my tap water come out at 80ppms which is pretty low so i have been topping it up to 250ppms with the formulex which is designed for seedlings and clones, you think this is bad for the autos or??

Mate.. pots cost about a dollar. Why you would risk a plant worth potentially hundreds of dollars with a cardboard pot makes no sense to me. I try to stay clear of any variable that stands between me and a harvest. What about pouring water into a cardboard container and having a moist bacterial colony contained inside it sounds like a good idea?

I've had 2-liter bottle pots with ill-effects. I've grown in a cardboard box with white trashbag walls. I have ghetto cred. Just spring the six dollars for a pot next time.

i do see what your saying why take the risk, im not looking for "ghetto cred" nor two cheap to buy the pots, i live in a very small village and im not exactly the home an garden type of guy, if i were to walk into my local garden shop and buy loadsa supplies it would look very suspisous, call me paranoid if you like, but i would rather risk a little mould which i know wont be a problem if i get it an feel from my past experience i can avoid, than a rumor being started and my house being searched and being charged for whats found let alone having a record for the rest of my life, cheers again though, your not wrong.
