i live in a rain shadow. i live closer to the 50'th (47º north) but because of the rain shadow created by the mountains i harvest usually at the beginning of October.....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rain_shadow

and bud rot doesnt set in unless you let your buds get to wet. go down in the dew of the morning and dry the buds off.... this will stop bud rot from forming for a few extra weeks......

thats the reason fast flowering strains were made.... its YOUR bad if you plant a sativa and cant harvest it.... its YOUR bad you didnt get the right seeds......... and as far as that goes.... look up the matanuska thunder strain.... it grows WILD in ALASKA.

Dude, if your buds are dense and it rains for a day or two, you can't just go out and take a hair dryer to your buds, or just shake the water off. And if you think that that strain grows wild in Alaska, thats just retarded.

The plants in the soybean field look like the farmer sprayed round up.........They spray round up on soy beans when they get a foot or more tall and even spray again in the summer. Weeds really clog up the shakers and screens on the combine. (Bad spot)

yea 10 pounds is pushing it no?

If your able to get 10 from those, i should be able to get at least 5 pounds from my 7 plants that range from 4-7 feet. and still growing.

Hope both of our crops turn out well brother, keep up the good work

Thanks for the info on the soy I had no idea. I revisited them last night to make sure that they werent all dead. There is some new growth but they are definitely not going to produce anything much, really i was just hoping for seeds. I guess never again, at least it was a try.

Next year when that farmer plants corn (they rotate crops) Do not plant anything until the corn is at least knee high or taller because they come back threw and spray round up. If those plants are still showing life get them out of there they will not make threw round 2........

Ay Alex, Big Props to yu ukno.. yu be doin it yo. It take alot to make up ur mind and say "this time um goin to go big or nothin at all," well idk how it is for you but for me it'll tak alot. I know all of thos trees yu got ther is gotta be a hell of alot of work. I hope Yu get all that yu can from those trees yo.:blsmoke: rep+

Im going to risk the plants in the soy field because they are autos and they already are in the middle of their bud cycle. Lesson learned

yeah you either poured your solution on the plants to water? or they got sprayed :( Be careful checking out that spot make sure you look for the farmer or his helpers when approaching them

Hey I have been watching this thread since it was first put up I was one of the first 10 people to see it. I have been rooting for your 10 pounds the whole time and still hope you get it. You have a very respectable garden, plants a tad stretched but hey its outdoors dam clouds. I have been wondering a few things more and more so I thought i would ask. Are you still expecting 10 pounds? If not what is you new expected yield? How many do you have now? How big are they on average?

Good question, I believe I still can get 10 pounds but I also believe that there are many factors that will be an issue regarding final weight that are completely out of my control. Someone stumbling across my garden and weather are biggest.

I have a total of 51 plants outdoors as of right now. The biggest being at Garden #1
at 6 feet tall, the boss at 7. Mind you those pictures are almost a month since I visited them last.
Garden #2 are all mango except 1 and they are all 5 feet tall with massive leaves. Plants at 2.1 are 4 feet tall and the 2 Big devil autos are 1.5 feet tall and the other is 2.
My auto assassins in the soy field are very stunted because of the round up that the farmer used so they range between 6 inches and 12.

I will get more pictures next week.

If your mango plants are of any decent size you will more than likely top 10+ pounds they are a real heavy yeilder. I was looking to run with them this year and last but fail both times. I grew it the year before that indoor and out and was more than happy with yeild but deffin not the stongest around.also have u pulled males yet or are they colone only gardens?
