ROUND 3: 1600w MH/Super HPS LST Bubblelicious & Blackjack Grow

ok, new seeds in the ground.... I'm going to grow out this grow....hope for the best, hopefully it will be decent bud, I'll just be picking out a lot of seeds......

new grow is:

1 Bubblelicious
1 BlackJack
5 Snow White
4 Mystery White

All nirvana.....

No, after further research in the grow room and going through my notes, it seems the white widow was MALE, and IT pollinated the Blackjack and Bubblelicious....So, I just crossed White Widow x with bubblelicious and blackjack.... accidentally I can assure you, regardless of my opinion, or anyone elses...those seeds will hit soil for some real world testing..... Gotta make some lemonade out of these lemons right?

Exatly! Plus its summertime too, some lemonade might be pretty good right about now lol But seriously I say go for it, I know ppl want seedless stuff but having a harvest of some great seeds isnt a bad thing. Could be a lost worse, something could have caused them to die and not get buds or seeds. Breed those babies and save the seeds! My hats off to ya on keepn a good attitude and making the best of it.

word life!! There will be a round 4 journal starting soon..... and it will be even BIGGER.... 2600 watts...Another 1000w coming.... Now have separate veg and flowering room...starting perpetual grow.... Can't wait... yeah, good attitude always helps...and a few tokes...

Just added two seeds from the pollinated crop to the new grow... Bubblelicious x White Widow..... and Blackjack x White Widow

10/13 beans have popped and are under the MH...

8-9-10 (Flowering Day 37)

Other than the fact that they have been pollinated by the male white widow, the bubblelicous and blackjack are looking really good..... The COLA only bubblelicous (all growth beneath cola removed) seems to really be eating up the extra concentrated energy.... Damn near the biggest cola I've ever seen (of course it is seed bearing)..... THC production seems to be doing rather nice, bud growth did slow a bit, but I still think I'll end up with at least 1lb and a half or real quality stuff...... Not PERFECT...but looks like it'll be really good...

Onto the other grow (aka NO FUCKING MALES OR HERMIES) - 5 snow white, 1 bubblelicous, 1 black jack, and 3 "mystery white" strains have germinated and are currently pushing out their 3rd leaf sets...... They are in 16oz solo cups, will be moving to 3qt planters for the rest of veg next week....and they will complete under the MH.......

8-16-10 (Flowering Day 44)

The cola only Bubb has gotten so fucking big.... CRAZY...I know it's packed full of seeds, but still, it looks so fat and sticky... The true bubblelicious smell is coming though already..... I didn't get that smell until after about 3 weeks of cure....

The others are doing just fine as well. I'll get some pics up soon, sorry, after they got pollinated I got real bummed out, but we're all good now... The new veg is going well (17 days in getting first dose of grow big today) under a 600mh.... As soon as the pollinated crop is done, I'm going to move the new grow into the flowering room and unleash 1600 watts....AGAIN, but this time it's for real ..... this will be the 3rd time, so hopefully they're right, and it's the charm...

Sorry for lack of updates, personal life has been very busy.


Eight total plants, 4 blackjack, 4 bubblelicious....ALL were pollinated by a White Widow....so yes, these were seed bearing plants...

Total weight: 25 zips......

13 zips Blackjack, 12 zips Bubblelicious..... Not heavily seeded, but there are seeds.. The quality of the smoke exactly 7 days after chop, is about 7.5/10..... very smooth, clean on both.

Bubble hits hard and fast, and then hits you again, and again.... Completely body.... not even cured, and the bubble taste is there already!

Blackjack is much more cerebral, more of a creeper...and it keeps creeping as well... Flavor is earthy, minty, piney....subtle fruit tones...


Overall, I do think yield was greatly impacted negatively due to pollination.... With that said, the quality of the smoke is not perfect, but still very good...

I have a good question for you...as I have read the entire thread and did not see it asked yet. Nice plants by the way...I have blackjack in my bean box . So it was a male plant that polinated them. So...I guess my question is not relevent...were they feminized seeds? I ask because I have 4 seed types that I got from nervona that are feminized. They are more apt to hermie right?
