Rot of some kind, harvest still good?

Found this on the stem and 1 brownish/grey bud. The bud is not mushy or falling apart it looks like a healthy bud but grayish brown. The hairs are maybe 70% red and the trich look cloudy when zoomed in. I wasn't sure what to do so to be on safe side I harvested the plant early. My question is even though I found some rot is it safe to consume the rest of the plant? Been inspecting for mold on the other buds but they seem healthy and mold free. Yeah man

Could be a worm inside it

I'd trim off any brown buds and take a cloth soaked in a mild bleach solution and wipe that stuff off the stem.

I ended up chopping her down, and put the buds in a paper bag. Will keep an eye out for any more mold. I chopped it cause I was worried it would spread and lots of rain coming my way and not much nice weather left.
