Looking for that mouth watering rosewater old lady rose perfume smelling and tasting strain and I know it’s out there!!! Had something unforgettable many years ago that was soo floral and perfume like, the exhale was like a faint diesel with strong rose water taste that just lingered forever.
I know there’s some mega cannoisseurs out there with smell and taste buds of a bloodhound that must of come across something similar.

Any clues in the right direction would be great.

Sinai and Turkish from realseedcompany/kwik seeds both can have that terp profile there landrace tho with semi auto tendencies tho

Thanks for that mate, I’m definitely ordering a few packs of the Sinai it sounds wicked. Have you ran any of they’re gear before?

Will be running outdoors. selecting what has the most rose/Turkish delight smells and tastes, I’ll keep the good males and open pollinate the keepers trying to weed out anything that shows auto tendencies.
A bit of a mission no doubt.
I’m not in the UK and the Sinai sounds pretty hardy and would work where I am.

What Afghans did you run? Any good?

They got a deal some idiot working with them mixed up a few different accessions from different parts of afghan so there selling em cheap as a result id get those if i were you proly best bang for ur buck but there balhki and mazar are good ones
And on a side note on sinai/turkish the semi auto trait isnt as bad as the full auto one just means fast flowering usually vs reg photo strains there ideal for outdoors and if your in a better climate then your defo gonna be able to get better results

Everything I've grown from trichome jungle gave me multiple examples of fire, though I grew 20+ each time regs. I've got 40 boomslang seeds waiting to go, that has the rosewater pheno in it's lineage, should be interesting.

Finally got round to ordering the Sinai, two packs on the way and a Congolese for fun.

@GreenestBasterd I have 4 phenos of "Orange Jello" from TJS and I just realized that two of them smell weirdly sweet and now that its the rose water cookie leaner. The other two are just orange funk(which I love the "Juicy Fruit"smelling one. Did a round of the Afghani x Mandarina so we will see what happens. Funny I never made the connection with Rose Water Cookie because it looks like a GSC but it does not smell like one.

I have more keepers from TJS then from any other breeder. The "Orange Soda" is a legit Cali-O on steroids if you can get the seeds. 10/11 week strain and delivers the "looking for my car keys" while your car keys are in your hand.

It’s definitely a certain type of special when you get it.
I’d say there are a few really interesting rose/Turkish delight pheno’s in his gear and a few other strains out there without the cookie side which is cool.

The Karma rado rose is pure Turkish delight/ rose. I’ve also got a pack of the royal kush 7 from emerald mountain that’s supposed to have a rose pheno in there but yet to pop.

My sour rose and 100 hand slap are just starting to show sex outside so will most likely keep the nicest male in cut form and keep the most rosie/Turkish delight phenos from the bunch to do some chucking come winter.

I haven’t had juicy fruit in years haha, I can only imagine that smoke would be nothing but lovely.

Recently shopping through Baaba Q's Afghani landrace seeds, I saw that rose terps were mentioned to describe his Rustam Kush selection. https://inoculatetheworld.com/product/rustam-kush/

Even more goose-chasey, I once met a humboldt dude who had a maple leaf indicia cross he had made, to salmon creek bud if I'm remembering right, and the bag smell was straight roses and floral sweetness with very little else going on. I thought it was unique and special, he was like "yeah nobody likes this stuff" lol. It was such a mellow terp profile.

I found a rosewater smelling Krystallica from mandala seeds years ago. Personally did not care for it as it didn't have the potency i was looking for but the aroma carried through to flavor
