GREAT stuff, thanks.
I need a little clarification and confirmation on the water's pH. Neutral is too high, correct? Goal is between 5.9, 6.4? I tried to listen but didn't understand this :/
I looked at 4 books I have last night, and all 4 say something different for the desired target perfect pH, but I believe 5.9 is the target. All books say 5.6 to 6.4 and 5.9 or 6.0 is the target to maintain. I have come to believe that you need a flucuation of between 5.6 to 6.4 for the plant to eat all the nutes.
There is a lot of pH info in this tutorial, back around pages 5, 6 and 7, I think.

Thank you very much for the praise and appreciation. Your gratitude humbles me.

I am very rich in blessings. Life has rewarded me tremendously in all areas of my life for my good intentions, positive thinking and willingness to be helpful to all and anyone. I'm just "paying it forward" and "paying it back".

I swear plants are like people. One day something's good for you the next day it's killing you, and vice versa. I was just looking around and did you know that they've found that CHLORINE plays a role in photosynthesis? And it is needed for osmosis, and maintaining ionic balance? I'm sure it's in very minute amounts, but still. Chlorine, in small amounts is actually GOOD for plants... crazy...

I guess that's why city water seems to work so well for people like Roseman and me.

I am sure you will help many people with what you have posted.

So how many watts are you running now.

Hairs, or Pre-Flower Female stigmas, or pistils (name varies from book to book) grew from a tiny 1/32 inch to 1/4 inch in lenght in one day, maybe even to 3/8 inch. They are clearly visiable in this pic. I think it is called a pistil in a "pre-flower" and a stigma after ti is a flower. We all call them the hairs.

These Pre-Flowers showed after Vegging 5 weeks, 4 days, then Flowering for Thursday until Tuesday, 5 or 6 days. I have a book that says ALL Indicas show sex if it is a Mature plant and Vegged over 5 weeks. That is even before being placed on 12/12, the book says.

Double Click the smaller pic and it will enlarge. At the 2nd node from the top, you can clearly see 2 curly pistils, almost white in color, almost half an inch long. They are the thickness of very fine hairs.

I got some runts, I mean some very runty runts in that closet. But I got some GIANTS, VERY Bushy, many upward limbs or branches, lots of top sites that are definitely female. I have found 2 large females in the oldest tank to the right of the closet. The tank to the far right is about 6 days ahead of the the tank to the left.

The Bucket and the tank to the far right is NOT showing sex yet. I wish they would hurry up so I can toss the males and get more light to the lower females branches and leaves.

Awesome Rose, beautiful...[/QUOTE

Thanks, friend. The pics don't show the tremedous height and bushyness, cause they are so cramped in that closet. I am so shocked, first time ever, I got Females showing and they are my 2nd and 3rd largest plant.

Quick question RM. If u have already answered this I apologize for asking again. Can the irrigation hubs or manifolds be found at like a lowes or home depot(or some sort of home and garden place)? Thanks for all the other helpfull info in this thread. Starting my first grow soon and will be using bubbleponics. Will try to start journal and post some pics of my set-up soon.

Yes, both Lowes and Home Depot have them to use in in-door gardens.
You can also use an Aquarium Divider or Spliter, that divides a flow into 4, 5 or 6 flows but it is not as efficient.

Here are pics of an Irrigation Hub, also called an Irrigation Manifold. Many different ones can be found.

DiG Six Outlet Irrigation Manifold DiG Six Outlet Irrigation Manifold
Price: $12.99 420Budman showed us one that Lowes has, he said:

The brand name is MISTER LANDSCAPER. It is in the DRIP IRRIGATION section (even says "drip irrigation" on the package), the technical name for it is PVC SPRINKLER ADAPTER (that is on the package too), the item# is 191779, and the model# is MLA-RA9, and the cost is $10.73. My local Lowes had about 9-10 of them in stock.

Rain Bird Landscape Dripline System 2.0 GPH Manifold #MANIF2-1PK
Available at Bizrate.com, Amazon.com, and Home Depot for $4.99 to $5.99

I'm assuming we can ask questions here now, so I was wondering if a bubbleponics system could have too many bubbles? I'm considering adding another pump with a couple more 12"? airstones. I have 2 12" ones in there now. That wouldn't hurt anything, would it?

If the water is not churning so strongly that it tears up the roots, then you do not have too many air stones. You do not want the water churning and rolling. I did two grows with one 4 inch air stone. I've seen many DWC grows with a single one inch airstone. I love my two 12 inch stones, very ample!

Hi Roseman.

My question is in regards to your lighting.
I count eight reflectors and I have to assume there is at least one possibly two over the tub on the left of the closet.

You have mentioned you wish to add more once they are sexed.

Can you tell me the total wattage you are using now and what your plans are durring flower? I am considering doing it myself.
