how big r the roots with a 6 foot plant or does the strain make a big difference?

depends if you plant in the ground then they can get as big as they want
but if you grow in a pot then the roots are confined to the pot
but if you grow in a pot then the roots are confined to the pot

i see. Because last year i did them in the ground and at the end of the year the roots were only about a foot or two. This year i wanna grow in 20 gallon bags but i still wanna get a big plant.
