Roots organics Oregonism XL

So i bought a little pack of this today at the hydro store. It says to use the whole pack which was 13 dollars. It says dump the whole pack into a gallon of water and use 1/4 a cup per gallon of the container. So i was just wondering if anyone has used this to add beneficial bacteria to your soil or soiless mixes? any tips? would non-organic cal-mag kill them?
Im going to try it after i get back from thanksgiving.

I'm wondering, as well, if there is anything that will kill the good bacteria if I use it in conjunction with Oregonism?

I rock the origoniszm like it for the bacteria it grows in nute teas. Grow it with cold water and time an airstone is ok but not all the best bac/ fungi for in aired solutions... I have switched to mycogrow cheaper and same just add Sucanat or molasses
