@Dontjudgeme From what i gathered at the shop the terp tea is their newer lineup. Little pricier and I imagine a bit more quality! When you say during veg what week do you amend at usually if you dont mind me asking? I have some liquid seaweed I have yet to use but have wanted to put it to use. I will remember all that! Thank you.

@JoeBlow5823 Very interesting..I wasnt aware of that! I have been seeing a lot of smaller plants around so it makes me feel a little better but I would prefer a little more weight definitely haha. Any bigger yeilders you would recommend? I will look into the Gelato!

When I transplant out of the cup or solo pot is when I do my veg amendment. I don’t use amendments in the cup or pot, just soil. ( When I grow autos I don’t top dress in veg only with photos ) So my veg amendment happens after 1st transplant out of cup or solo pot. I only use the kelp during flower.

Ahh shoot okay so since im working with autos you wouldnt top dress any grow during veg at all? Even with a soil like the Roots Organic Original, assuming it isnt hot enough to keep it going the whole time during veg. I could be very wrong though! Thanks a ton for the responses. Will remember that with the kelp.

I personally would probably do a light top dress if your in roots organic original, that is a pretty cool dirt.

No I don’t top dress in veg because autos life cycle is shorter than photos. I tried it once and burnt the bajesus out of my girls. Now in reference to the specific amendment you have from roots organic, I can’t say because I’m not familiar with it. If the NPK ratios seem a little low, then top dressing in veg might not be a bad idea. Nitrogen is key during this time, check the “ N “ on your bag. If it’s less than 7, top dressing is probably needed otherwise you’re running the risk of deficiency.

Noted. I will play around and see what we can make happen! The NPK of the uprising grow is 6-1-2 from the looks so I may toss a little in. For now they are planted in a cups work of coco and roots original with mykos/azos. Starting to see some little sproutings. I will play it by looks but try to stay ahead as dry nutes will take some time to get in. Thanks again for the help!

Just picked up some Roots Organic Original soil along with the uprising lineup grow and bloom. Anyone have pointers with these or a feeding schedule they have found to work well for them?

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks.
Their dry feed schedule at aurorainnovations.com shows how to use together with other top dressings, really effective schedule.
Although I like the old master schedule it would have you add(up to 10gal pot size) 2tsp of grow/foundation and same of bloom/foundation twice/month with essential(their cal mag top dress and also 2tsp weekly), 1/4c(4tbsp) earthworm castings every 3 weeks, and a couple others I'll have to look at after work later, along with 5ml/gallon of their
original liquids(addition of the amino aide and big swell makes not organic, but the swell works great in schedule and is still at tiny amounts like everything else) the master schedule online just changed to omit the uprising line.

I really enjoy that line after 7 years of.bouncing around nutrients with each grow, running a veg and bloom tent so each experiment happens every 2ish months

Fyi these 2 autos(forum stomper and purple lemonade) were grown with purely old roots organics "master feeding schedule". Forum on left green phenotype (booo) of purple lemonade on right. Auto tent is my wife's and she wanted to try roots organic line and I'm glad she did.

I’m not familiar with uprising, I use roots organic terp tea “ grow “ and “ blow “. Can be used as an amendment or tea, I prefer the amendment route. I mix 1 tsp of grow per gallon of soil during veg. Then I transplant into the final pot and amend again but this time with the bloom. About 3-4 weeks before harvest I top dress. Every 2-4 weeks I water with seaweed powder. Strong stuff, 1-0-17! At least once a week I feed molasses too. Every watering gets calmag. I use tap water so I don’t really need it, but I use it anyway just in case.
What soil? Roots organics original or 707?
