I'm germinating rt now and was wondering once I get roots is it a good idea to dap some rooting compound on the roots to help them take off?
You know, I know there are products that are supposed to really help your roots take off, but I'm just not sure they are necessary. I mean, if you know a strain has troubles taking off, then I would say yes, but most of the time, I really don't think the rooting compounds really help.I'm germinating rt now and was wondering once I get roots is it a good idea to dap some rooting compound on the roots to help them take off?

I'm using FFOF soil, I just figured the compound might give it a jump start.imo, if your goin to grow in soil, just transplant them into quailty soil, they will get all they need...if your growing hydro...phosphorus is the main element responsible for root/seed/bud production...you could simply mist your plants with a light hydro bloom solution (1 ml per/liter) if your really set on attempting to speed up your root production. I've also used a root enhancing product called, "Prop-O-Gator" when I grow in hydro, link >> http://extremegrowing.com/web/content/view/60/78/
Thanks I'll check it out @ the store.I add about 1 tbl per gallon of Root 66 to my AACT tea and they seem to like it.
