Hi all,

My question is: Should I use rooting horomone`s/compound for taproots B4 going in Rockwool after germination?

Will this help the roots explode and start a foundation faster or will the Chems hurt the new seedling?

+Rep for good answers!

only water, they are only seeking out moisture at this stage, let them be please......

The tap root is searching for a desired depth in relation to the moisture content and density, (excluding genetics here) they are programmed to only search for two things when germinating---moisture and light, the cotyledon's will do the work for you at this stage of its life (the first two leaf's that pop out from the seed) the seeds program will only need the water and light to sprout the next leaves, after this then you may add 1/4 strentgh ONLY....even less, or not at all depending on what medium you are using....... hope this helped yop, without having to go into plant science for you.

peace
