Root Rot

First time for everything, I guess.

I had 20 nice looking plants when all of a sudden I get leaves wilting. One plant after another goes down each day. Out of 20,... 12-14 are now dying. Of those, I have thrown out 8 and those roots stunk like shiat. Just flushed the rez out and now I'm running 1 liter of 29% hydrox to 20 gallons water. The roots were all brown. ANy hope for the remaining good looking plants?

Oh.. 3.5 weeks into flower

go get yourself some root excellurator from house and garden, the shit is expensive but it is suppose to have microbes that kill root rot. just make sure to flush and clean as much as you can without destroying too many roots.btw, one liter of 29% is going to kill them, i have a feeling that is doing more damage than the root rot. i use 10-20ml's per 10 gallons

also, you need to cool that res down and make sure u have an airstone. no point in having a solution, if you havent fixed the problem

That sucks, you really want to catch root rot before the damage starts showing in the plants.

Probably more fucked because you are in flower - in veg you could let them sit a month to recover.

Sorry man :/

root rot is bad yeah real bad in bud,,, are u using a flood and drain system? making sure that it drains is real important..when i used a fnd system i got it alot.. i sued to dip the excess roots hanging are the usual suspects due to temp and light to roots, anyway i used to dip them into a low water and hydrogen peroxide for about 10 to 20 seconds and rinse with straight water. doesnt hurt the plants and the peroxide helps oxidize the dying roots.. good luck and KEEP ON GROWING...

I just visited the room, I've got maybe 5 plants that might make it. Air stones are working so Monday morning they are all coming down, even the good plants' roots look ugly brown. lol
