Root Rot?

would choping up bannana peels into small pieces and burrying them a half inch into your soil caus root rot??

possibly and why would you do that?

but if you put the banana peels in your soil without it being dried out and mixed up into compost

would it not attract bugs to your soil ? or possibly even to your plant

no i dont have a bug problem but i saw like 2 fruit flys the other day but havent seen any since like a week ago i chopped up a fresh bannnana peel for potassium and put it in the soil of my plants and today i choped up a lime that smelled fresh but had a little white mold on it lol but i dont think the plant will mind i dont no why lime maybe it will do something for it maybe th eplant likes moldy lime i doonno i just noticed my 1 plant had a lot of leaves turning yellowish purpleish browing dying im hope its not root rot i have good drainage the buds still look frosty and only got 2 weeks till harvest so i should be okay i just hope its not root rot


for my next feed im just gonna boil the bannnana peels and use the water from the boil

Generally that type of thing is done weeks/months before planting,adding this type of material directly to the soil of a living plant might cause rot due to the heat that is generated in breaking down living material like banana peels.

Excess heat causes mold,thats why we dont pile mulch aroung plant stems.

yea im not gonna do that again but i dont think it root rot though i saw some new healhly little green leaf growth at the lower of stems and because leaves been dying threwout my grow i was always pullin brown dead leafs off but over the past few days even alot of the bud leafs started to brown purple yellow curl but im guessing this is just the plant putting all its energy towards the buds with 2 weeeks left until harvest and i may of been underwatering or lack of air circulation

potassium.... phosphorous..... magnesium... Do you not use nutrients or know what they are?

instead of bannana peels you should of just used molasses as a supplement instead of using something you didny even research
