root rot /slime question

Hey,
been dealing with root rot/slime for the last month or so. Have 4 chem in flood and drain set up and 2 og i moved to soil. the og recovered almost right away, but the chem in my flood table are just hanging in there. Tried a bunch of different ways of dealing with it and am using Heisenberg style tea it seems to be keeping it under control ( at least no more slime and no really bad swollen roots). Can't tell if its getting better or not although they started drinking alot more water the last week or so. Ph starts @5.6-5.8 and swings up to @ 6.1 I've been keeping tds very low since they dont seem to be feeding at all, and the roots i can see are in pretty bad shape.

Almost all of the fan leaves have died but the buds and smaller leaves still look ok. I haven't seen any new root growth since this started. They started drinking more water this week but still not taking any nutes. I'm on week 9 of flower and the tricombs are all still clear. I should prob just chop them and start over but they are getting pretty close to being done. Sorry no way to post pictures atm. Anyways, I'd realy like to keep them going till they are ready but not sure if that's a good idea. Does anyone know if sick plants can finish normally just a lot slower or if it's more likely they will hermi?

Too much stress of one kind or another will cause plants to hermie, it's kinda like a save the species kinda reaction a la Jurrasic Park. When i used to have similar problems in my dwc setup i would always do a good heavy dreanch with a light hydrogen peroxide solution (about half and half of the store bought 3 percent or a 1.5% to 2% if you buy H202 at your local hydro store). It will kill all the bacteria good and bad and then the next day come back and innoculate with a tea again to get the good bacteria and fungi back in.

as for the stressed plants finishing but slower, i have seen this happen and everything be ok, and i have seen where the plant went well past it's prime into schwagville before it ambered up.

I think I'm gonna give it another week or so to see if they seem to be improving or not. The slime has been totally gone for a few weeks and as far as I can tell the root rot isn't getting worse. Just trying to figure out if it has enough life left to finish up. If not i still did ok for my first grow i think and learned a lot so hopefully I'll do better next time;-)
Thanks for the help

i used hygrozyme and h2o2 for a while and it seemed to clean the roots ok, created massive amounts of slime tho (i had to change my res every day for a while). Also if i didnt add tons of h2o2 every day it would come right back) + i prob burned the crap out of the roots. the thing that seemed to keep the slime away was bleach tho, but wasnt geting any new root growth after 3 weeks so i decided to try the hiesenberg tea thing again. It worked realy well before i started getting slime probs and i thnk the slime/root rot was because of some other probs not the tea prob so its worth a try i thnk. i could harvest now i dont thnk they are going to get any bigger at this point but im hoping i can get them to finish or at least cloud up a little bit. What i was wondering was if anyone knows if theres a decent chance that a really damaged plant this late in flower can finish normaly or if im just wasting my time trying. Well not wasting really i seem to learn more when i do dumb stuff and have probs than when everything goes smoothly.
