Root Rot Recovery..lets talk strategy!

So I am on my second attack of root rot and recovery, I have new pearl white roots shooting out of the sides of my net pot. I also have plenty more of old brownish/tan "sensitive" roots. (they break apart real easy).

Do you think I should cut out the affected roots or should I leave them be considering the majority of the roots are affected? Just the new growth is white. I have added grozyme and aqua shield Saturday. Which I am attributing to this new growth. The plant is 14 inches tall and not looking rough. It is also dwc by the way. What would you do?

I would appriciate input from people who have successfully dealt with this problem or have significant experience in dwc. No offense to anyone its just I will be devastated if I naively act on someones guesstimate.

My tea is orca liquid, grown in a bucket with airstone and a teaspoon of brown sugar. 48 hrs brewing, add 1/4 cup per gallon of nutes every change and every 5 days.
