Yo! Dirty Jerzey I use 29% h2O2 and never would I use that much!! That stuff is strong and is certainly overkill in those amount, good chance for adverse effects at those doses IMO. I use at about 1/2 tsp/gal and it's helped me rid oncoming infestations. If you read the directions on the back it says to use it at 3ml/4 liters.
unsure if it's recommended to use 3% btw, I would just get the 29% it's like 10$ for a quart and will last a good while.

The only option from my local store is 1 Gal... For $35. I will possibly run over friday. Been keeping a close eye on the situation. Im not positive it is root rot as it has not spread at all and is not slimy (but i'm also blitzed and no expert). But I think I should get it to be safe and have for the future. Do you know its shelf life?

I definitely recommend it. I only bought a quart but a gal isn't a bad investment. I run it in my cloner and under my scrogs to be safe since I can't see inside the buckets. Unsure of shelf life exactly but it won't go bad on you. It lasts absurdly long as it isn't a salt nute thats much more sensitive to conditions etc
Btw I've had that same looking black stuff but it wasn't slime either. I can tell you it came from using floranova bloom in my case

The percentage on your H2O2 only matters in regards to how you mix it up. The 3% works just as well, you just have to add 10X more. At least that's my understanding...
Anybody know if its safe to do that? Use 3% H202 but more of it?

NO! do not use the 3% stuff you get from the drugstore. There is something in it that is harmful to plants. The name of the additive eludes me at the moment.

Use horticultural or food grade ONLY!

I quit using h202 close to a year ago.

Pool shock for me. sooooo much cheaper.

Instead of h2o2 get Dutch Masters Zone. It is concentrated, inexpensive, and the slime and pathogens never get going. I do ebb and flow in standard pots with coco and no funk, flies, just nice clean white roots.
