i have these 2 nl clones just entering week 2 of flowering. i vegged for about 2 weeks. im running a small swc setup in my closet maid cab. temps stay about 2 degrees warmer than my house. it has an air cooled 150w hps.

the plants still look and smell healthy as hell. only the roots have started to turn a little brownish at the top where they exit the net pots. im hoping this is nothing major. i am using botanicare pure blend pro grow (for veg) and pro bloom (for flower) any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Man that is a hard one. It kinda does look like root rot, but it also looks boarder line nutrient disc. Is it slimy at all?

no slime just light to medium dark brown roots. this is only on the upper most part of the roots where they exit the netcup. what should i do?

looks fine some nutes stain the roots a bit. Use 50% H202 solution at 1mL/L to control any pathogen problems. :peace: Also make sure your nutrient solution is not getting too hot.

I think the roots look pretty healthy. Not slimy? No algae in res? Could very well just be the ProBlend nutes discoloring them. I used them on my last grow and they stained the roots of my plant as well....here's a link to a post with pictures of my root ball. I grew in perlite... but you can still see what I'm talking about https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/102084-shes-coming-down-today-i.html#post1218206

My plant was healthy and produced well :)

NG thanks for the reply. my res temps are abut 70-74 highest temp. i was hoping it was just stains. time will tell lol.

no slime, no algae they do look VERY similar to your plants root ball. thanks for posting that link.

Don't let time tell just add the H202 and be safe, your rez temps are fine :peace:
