ok so i have 6 bubble buckets, all are clones from cheese candy. i am having some root rot in only 2 of the 6... i use hydrogen peroxide in every re-fill should i just do a peroxide and calimag flush for a few hours and then re-fill with normal nutes.. i am 4 weeks into flower using gh nutes with kool bloom ,cali/mag and sledge hammer rinse.. all the same gh line.. feeding all the same schedule and same ppm's in all 6 buckets with in 20 .. ph stays at 5.6-58 .until i get low on the res.. then it shoots up to a 6.7-7.0 but thats only for maybe a day at the most..use standard ph down adjuster.anyone have a quick fix for root rot without going to a hydro store... its late and everything is closed, i am going out of town tomorrow and wont be back for 2 days, need to address this asap.. what ya got riu???????????????????????

Keep your buckets below 70* and 100% light proof. Brew up some tea and you can run with a little higher temps. I would be surprised if the h2o2 defeats the slime.

well after a good flush the rotted roots come off. as in fell off. to rotten to clear up. so i babied the rest and refilled there res with fresh water and nutes with h202. and a lil cali.mag for help.. its not dead yet but i deff had one that was worse then the other, hopefully the one that only had a lil bit is ok the bad bad one might not make it,:wall:
dont understand how 2 buckets started to get root rot and the other 4 are just as fresh and white as my last grow, this time it was there in just 3 days.. no sign of it week n a half ago when i did a res change,,, went to res change a one was real bad and slimy but not stinky.. odd??? or should it stink??? the outsides of my net pots are fine with white roots and healthy growth but the slimy one was just a mass of slime the roots fell off when rinsing them. think they will come back under flower or is she spent?? only time will tell..any thoughts on the slime?? temps are the same in all 6 of the buckets.. there is nothing different in the 2 that are bad vs the ones that are fine.. thanks gang

IMHO, Do not use hydrogen peroxide in dwc.. Seen too many growers wipe out their entire crop with that crap. Get yourself a big airpump and it will do wonders for the root zone, and will max out yields... I promise you will be happy. Personally, i use a 280 watt commercial pump on 3-8 buckets, and my roots are extremely white, and disease free every time.

bro do not jus use h2o2 temporary solution....get aquashield i stand by it my temps have been high went thru root rot...increased to two airstones per tote and added 3 tsp aquashield per gallon ...roots actuallly exploded outta the mush from the rot...IM TELLIN YOU PEROXIDE WILL EVENTUALLY COST YOU UR CROP DUE TO CRASHES IN PH...THE H202 ONLY WORKS FOR BOUT 12 TO 24 HOURS THEN IT WILL TURN BACK TO OXYGEN IN THE WATER...GOOD LUCK..AQUASHIELD...GET IT
