Root Question?

Ok so i have 4 plants in rockwool, I noticed good growth past week checked the base and seen really white roots about 4 sticking out visibly from just peeling back a little bit. Some even had the little ones coming out that makes it look real hairy or fluffy. Sorry dont know the proper terms. To get to the point what can I do because the plants are in 6"x6" cubes, the next is in a 3 gallon pot that i put a bunch of rockwool in and let it grow out from the smaller cubes. Do i let it go? Just curious on this find today. Any advice would be appreciated.

Not sure of your question, you sprouted in 6 by 6 rockwool cubes and then placed them in 3 gal pots filed with rockwool after roots showed. What's wrong with that? they should grow ok.

No i have 3 plants in the cubes, I didnt have a fourth to transplant the plant into a bigger cube. I took the cube and more unused cubes and mashed them into a pot. The question is the roots started sprouting close to the base of the stem where the rockwool ends what should i do?

I'm still confused. Do you mean you have 3 plants in one cube? Sorry but I'm just having a hard time understanding the problem. If the cubes are in a pot filled with rockwool and the roots are showing out of the bottom of the cube, they will find there way into the rest of the rockwool. If you do have 3 sprouts in one cube, you have a problem, the roots are probably entangle.

Ok here it is again. I have 3 plants in "separate" cubes, and 1 plant in a pot that i stashed with rockwool cubes because I ran out of big cubes. All 4 of the plants are growing roots on the stem at the base and some were showing. I pinched some rockwool and covered the roots. My opinion is the plants grew in height way faster than they did width and nodes. Just wondering what I should do, but i figured the answer would be to cover them.

Again just looked at the little ones and 1 of the plants has 3 or 4 root stems starting on the stem again. Why would this happen? Should I cover up the best I can?

It will be fine..any part of a plant that gets buried will turn into roots...so no issue...often you will get roots coming out of the soil and up the base of the stem...still nothing to worry about...that is the best thing about roots..they will grow to where they can survive...

Sorry for the misunderstanding and confusion I just could'nt understand what you were asking, if the roots are showing as above stated there's no problem. In fact I have 2 plants here that are the same and they're still doing fine. Mea Culpa.

What's the problem? Also how are you watering? With rock wool you may need to set up a water pump. I water my RW plants 4 times a day. Also I have found that pH drifts with RW and needs to be watched closely

What's the problem with your leaves? yes with rockwool you have to keep an eye on the ph, it will rise constantly, after this grow I intend to change to hydroton. Sorry to hear you're having a bad time, you will eventually get the hang of it, just keep trying don't give up.It took me a while to learn when I first started. have fath my friend.
