So I used the bottle of Safer Insect Remover I had
http://www.saferbrand.com/store/outdoor-insect/5118
Wanted to try that before anything systemic. I didn't give a sht about systemic stuff until my last grow a few months ago to get rid of PM then near the end it got PM again and I washed all the buds with water and it (looked like) came off... It was Moby Dick and the buds were amazing. Smoked really great but I started feeling weird after smoking that for a while. The feeling is still there after I smoke and still now. Not sure if its purely from the systemic shit I used or the PM that still might have been on the nugs... Also I'm not saying its from that, it might have been other health related issues. However I feel like, if I do sell to patients, I shouldn't use anything systemic or with leftover PM at all because who knows what health problems people could have that it might not be good with.
Anyway I poured out all that Safer shit into a bucket and, after rinsing thoroughly each net pod and removing thousands of aphids in each netpod with water, I poured lots of Safer into each netpod as if I was hand watering it. I left it for a day and my room smelt like Safer since it recirculated in the DWC. There were even more aphids in the bottom of each bucket and the roots were slimy white but still intack(and no aphids on the roots). A couple plants really hate me right now but they are still alive and producing new roots, which is the important thing.
Anywho I haven't seen any flying aphids anymore so I feel like I eradicated the problem, however I am aware that eggs, or survivors, might still be alive so while it looks like I succeeded imma keep a look out.
Also something interesting. Not sure if it was related to the Safer product or not, but some larger aphids stuck to the side of the bucket above the water had what looked like mold growing directly on top of them. This could have been the product or the environment, although there was no mold anywhere else... but ya, it looked like it fucked some of them up lol
