I am almost ready to start building my first grow room and am in need of some advise.
A bit of info about the build: I am building a room/box inside of a room as I am in a duplex and sound pollution i think will be a problem. Using a grow tent will simply not work. The room I am using is at rear of the house. It has one wall that is adjacent to the back yard and one wall that is adjacent to the neighbors dinning room (The clothes closet in this room runs in front of this entire wall). The other two walls are adjacent to the insides of my flat. I will be using a foam board type insulation on all four walls and ceiling regardless of how I build the room. My grow room dimensions will be 4' X 5'6" X 8'.
My first question is should I build a complete "box" with four walls, a roof and floor, or should I just build up two walls and utilize the yard and flat walls, ceiling and floor?
Second, should I use Sound Board or will Dry wall be enough?
