Hello everyone I have a room that’s 8 feet 8 inches width length is 11 feet 4 inches. I’m stuck between using the whole room with 2 growers choice ROI 680 or 2 600 watt hps for flowering room and having a tent for veg/clones. Or should I just buy tents and put growers choice in each for flowering? I’m not gonna use the whole room most likely will probably use about half the rooms size. But I’m stuck between using the room or grow tents. Any help would be great both in terms of lighting and weather or not I should buy the tents. Posted pictures of the room has one window. And a little section of the room where the desk is if I end up using the whole room maybe put a little grow tent for veg/clones.

no central air. Just the one window. I have a 400 watt hps in the closet right now thinking about just putting the 400 watt and buying a 600 watt to make the empty room a flowering room and buying a tent for veg/clones cause if I try that in the closet light will leak. Thinking about just blocking out the window too maybe. Cause when the lights are on for the 12 hours I can just open the door and let heat out if the two lights create a lot of heat. Only problem is how to hang the two lights to cover how ever many plants I can fit under a 400 and 600 watt. Does this sound sound at all or am I way off the marker?

Easy to hang the lights, you can screw a 1" x 4" into the ceiling joists or screw eye hooks directly into ceiling joists. 400 and 600 watt fixtures are light, you could use drywall anchors into plaster- drywall.

Do you think that would be enough lighting to cover about half the room and fit decent amount of plants under them? Cause I need to set it up pretty soon even if it’s just the 400 watt think I’ll start out with that and see how it does and for everything in and expand later on perhaps. Idk I just have to get things going. Also is it okay to start seedlings out with 18-6 hours on and off? Or do people recommend 24/0 for the first couple weeks? Also, thank you so much for replying and helping me man. I appreciate you

18-6 or 24-0 both work for seedlings..

400 plus 600 watts can cover a 4' x 4' area so yes, you can cover half that room.. Id use a corner and put reflective panda film on 2 walls to reflect light.
You could probably make it 54" x 54" and get good nugs on the perimeters. 54 inches is four and a half feet..not sure if you're metric or not.

2 tents and you can run perpetual harvest. Veg/clone/mom in 1 tent with 400 and flower in other with 600. could pull .5-1lb per month outta there | 24/7 for veg all day
