room built... now what....

the room is 10x10x8
i was going 2 use
-2 1000w EYE Hortilux High Pressure Sodium


but i have 2 questions one how big of a carbon filter/intake and outtake fan

and how many health good plants could i produce in this room

fyi:i have a second room with t5's for my mothers and clones so i dont need 2 use any of the space for that

I have about half that size space, I use a carbon filter/fan combo from HTGsupply for $199, it's plenty big enough for my space, not too sure about your space

10x10x8= 800 cubic feet

You should exchange the air once every 2 mins for best results.

Therefore, you will need a fan rated at at least 400cfm (cubic feet per minute) and a carbon filter rated at or above the fan. Keep in mind the filter will lessen the effectiveness of your fan, so you'll want to go higher than 400.

im getting like a 490 or somthing 470 it comes in a kit with a filter so should be all dandy

25 plants
10 gallon buckets
mylar walls
air cooled reflectors
fox farm organic soil
fox farm nutrients
electric ballis(saposed 2 be more energy efficent but was a pretty penny)

was hoping for atleast 2-3p's

if that helps at all

my buddy who is way more advanced than me uses 4/1000 hps, nicest setup I've seen and pulls 5.5 to 6 lbs every 70 days...I think 2 to 2.5 you could do easily

I forgot this from my last post he does 56 plants mostly indica strains....

you should add some more light if you plan on useing 10x10 each 1k only will cover 5x5 so thats only half your room,2 more or acouple 6 for on there sides. I plan on useing 2 1000's in a 5x8 after this round is over.
