Rookie here

Trying to read up as much as possible. Size is an issue. Looking to purchase a DR60. Trying to figure out what lighting to use. Maybe only looking to grow one or 2 plants for myself. Do switching the lighting for the veg. Part of the grow? The hours of light or is it the watts of the bulb. I feel like I'm all over the place on this. Thanks

It can be both, but most important is hours of light. I go 18 onn for vedge, 12 on for bloom

Buy an HPS ballast for your lights, then use MH conversion bulbs(designed for use in HPS ballast) for vegitation 18/6. then install the HPS bulbs when its time to flower 12/12. You usually want more watts during flowering.
