Hello ChroniC. I used the technique as well as the LST on my seed started Afghans. It is day 48 for my soil grown plants. Here are pics of one of my ladies and the top planted clone.

IN THIS PHOTO, NOTICE THE MERISTEM SCAB WHERE THE CUT WAS MADE JUST ABOVE THE 2ND TRUE NODE.

HigH people. Day 26 and 2 days since topping. Them seem to be responding well to the topping. I'm glad I did it. I did feed them today 15ml per gallon of rhizotonic 10ml per gl of the coco a and b 5ml per gl Cannazymey and 1.25 ml per gl of magi-cal. I noticed a few spots on a couple places of each plant. I took some pics and another video. Check em out and let me know what ya think of how I'm doing so far. I have not introduced my co2 system to the grow yet. I'm waiting on my atmospheric controller I ordered and a backdraft damper. I ordered the greenair ct dh 3p. I can't wait to get that bad boy and set up my co2 system. Plants look great, except for the herpes.

BTW- If your water has chloramine (chlorine and ammonia) in it, you need to deal with it. It won't dissipate like chlorine alone.

Your photography is really improving. That top picture, using the reflection, is excellent. Looking good.

btw: I'm pretty sure it's herpes.

HigH people. Day 27 and 3 days since topped. Just woke up checked in on my babies and took a couple pics along with breaking a out the yard stick for a quick measure. They are getting taller. At least a half inch last night. While I had my head in the medicine cab I gave a em a look over also to check out those spots on the leaves I posted about earlier. Still looking the same and I still don't know what is the prob. I'm thinking I'm gonna lower nutes. I'm pretty sure I need to lower the rhizotonic. I think I have a well structured root system going. The bottle says to lower dosage once root system is established. I have the coco a and b at 10ml per gallon the rhizotonic is at the max dose of 15 ml per gallon. I just started in with the cannazyme at 5ml per gallon and was planning on moving up to the 9ml per gallon as per the bottle label. I have also just started using magi-cal at 1.25 ml per gallon. The bottle recommends I think 2.5ml per gallon. As for my water I am using from tap after sitting at least 24 hrs with an airstone pumping thru. I have checked the ec of my water which is 0.6 and the ph is around 7.5. I would really appreciate any help on determing what this problem is with the lil ladies. +rep for helping a rookie out!! Hi buddy hows it goin?....nice pics bro lookin sweet!, What are the tatt's on your arm ive got a few myself?.....anyway back to subject the spots look just like the 1's i had mate think some 1 on my thread said it was mag deff,...as soon as i added the cal-mag, no more appeared or got worse but the spots staid on the leafs, for the rhiz mate yes start lowering it slowly now try to get it down to 2ml/g after your strech if you can (doesnt have to be bang on then lol) and when you start addin your pk id stop usin all together, i wouldnt lower your nutes bro your amounts sound good and the plant looks great, and it would make worse if is a deff......as for the cannazmy mate the new formula stuff has some nutes in now so raises ec so just be carefull when addin you may need to lower your A&B, jb recommended to use it at least twice a week but not everyday,......the only nute burn i got was when 1 time i didnt lower my A&B when addin the cannazym, hope this helps good luck Bro!!!!!

What up Pukka? Things are going great! Thanks for your help bro/mate lol. I appreciate the help and will be cutting back on the nutes a little bit. Especially the rhiz. Will be watching and prob cutting down on the a&b while using the cannazyme bout twice a week. Just started with a cal mag supplement and will prob increase next feed. Not gonna be pre mixing anymore. Gonna watch em closely to see what they need. Like I said I appreciate the help. Tried to plus rep ya but RIU Says I gotta spread the luv. Thought I had been! Hmm. Anyway as for the tattoo I have a few. I am Native American(Sioux) with some Scottish so most of my tattoos are of my Native American heritage. The tat u can see is of a tribal design with some twisted looking stuff like you can see inside my arm with the tribal design coming out of the arm. Something I got while stationed in Hawaii while in the Navy.

HigH People. Gearing up to get the co2 system in the medicine cabinet. Still waiting for the atmospheric controller. I did buy a small oscillating fan from office depot. Says it's 9" but that's with the guard. It has a 5" fan on it. I removed that guard to accommodate my cab. Gonna make another mod to it to lower the profile even more. I had a small fan up top in a corner just to have a lil air movement in there. Now I got this fan to help move the co2 around and to strengthen my stems for the big ass colas I'm gonna grow! Hells Yeah! Made a little video on the phone to show off and get some feedback! Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by. Here is the link:

Definitely not too much breeze, they like being slapped around some, makes 'em stronger. But, watching that clip, I was reminded about some CO2 demo I saw that said you wanted the CO2 to come up from under the canopy. I think it said the underside of leaves held the CO2 receptors.

Don't quote me on this, i'm fuzzy on the details, but it seemed like a good source of info. I'll try to remember where I saw that. Better to ignore me on this for the time being. Maybe just generally.

Might've been from that ebook Hobbes published.

Yeah I was thinking it was all good with that breeze. As for the co2 I'm pretty sure you want the tube for the co2 above the canopy so it can fall down over the plants.

HigH People. Day 28 from sprout 4 days since they were topped. Just fed them and they are looking great. Nice new growth coming in. The LSD is really becoming a bush. I used the canna calculator today for a light feeding. Actually went a little lighter than recommended for the coco a and b. They still have some spots on them we'll see how they like that for a bit. Also tracked my atmospheric controller and backdraft damper. Supposed to be here on Monday hopefully no delays. Anyway I took another lil vid and some pics of them today. Here is the vid link:

HigH people. Day 30 of veg and 6days since topped. Is there a Cannabis Dr. In the house? I need a diagnosis for my ladies, mainly the LSD! Apparently I have some nute burn or some kinda deficiency! Which, I don't know. Maybe someone can help a rookie out with a diagnosis. It has been about a day and a half since feeding. The last feed I mixed my nutes with 6L of tap water that sat out in a 5gl bucket with an airstone For at least 24hrs. I used the canna calculator for a light feeding. Actually went a lil lighter on the cocc a&b 10ml of both. 12ml of rhizotonic 10ml of cannazyme and 5ml of Magi-Cal. My water ph is 7.3 and the ec is 0.06. After mixing nutes the ec is 1.59 and ph is 6.2 which I ph down to 5.8. I've recently started with the cannazyme and the Magi-Cal. Had some of these spots on leaves before using both. Not sure what I'm dealing with and would appreciate any help I can get in diagnosing this problem. Definite +REP for any help! Thank you! I have faith someone here on RIU Can help a rookie out!

I'd suggest you get your water elsewhere, like maybe one of those water machines at the grocery store. You might have something in your muni water supply that should be filtered out.

But, you probably are seeing your plant trying to expell some salts. I've seen a bit of this, even growing organically.

Thanks V! I'm gonna take that advice and use that machine at the grocery store for the rest of the grow. It's only 45 cents per gl if you use your own container. I was using this water earlier in the grow. It is ro water so I think I need to use a cal mag supp? Pretty sure I read that before. Anyway thanks again V. Tried to plus rep ya again but riu says I need to share the love. I have been plus repping a lot.

Spread the love around, no worries. I was thinking I'd give it a dose of epsom salts, so cal/mag might be the ticket.

Blue Mystics are supposed to be tolerant to both over and underfeeding, but your grow method has me perplexed. BTW- Did you rinse the salt out of your coco fiber? Was it pre-rinsed? I don't know anything about it, so I read some info and it talked about even lumps of salt being found in coco fiber. I'm sure you're on top of this, but I had to ask.

Like i said mate looks alot like the prop i had but you've added the cal-mag supp so im stuck im no expert as you no, im thinkin maybe it could be your tap, its worth a try bud you want to add your cal-mag if you do 1st to the mix till you got 0.2ec i think im still not 100% i no its 200ppm witch i think is the 0.2 all lookin good apart from that though mate some real fast growth!!!
