Rookie ass mistake

I can't believe I did this...the other day when I was at the house I put these plants in 3 gallon buckets and stuck them under a light...I was thinking it was a mh but it was his and I did not pay attention....now 4 days later of 24..7..light from the 1000w hps...the leaves are bleached...
I guess that is what happens when you are crushing your wax pen while doing this...they will be ok..just will be another week of veg.

If the mh bulb was 1000w as well the same thing would have happened. I've bleached mine before coming from T5's to mh. You have to ease them into it. Really back off the light.

Yeah it usually doesn't happen with the mh...but your right...I raised the light way up..they can stretch as I have 10' ceiling...yeah my T5s run at 277v...much brighter then 120v...

your t5's "run brighter at 277v, much brighter than 120?
I use badboy 8 tube t5 fixtures, capable of plugging into 240 or 120 volt plugs
I've done both with a par meter under and saw no difference, why would there be a difference in yours?

Yeah your talking 120/240...
Because 277v is derived from a 480v wye
Line voltage is higher then phase voltage in y circuitry...
Then it comes down to ballast that drives it has more output at 277v then at 120...240v
