Ron Paul Pwns liberal mindset

that would have been great if liberals were trying to destroy the first amendment or property rights, but they're not. that would be the right wingers.

eg - ground zero mosque

one of the few issues where ron paul and i feel the same.

OMG don't even go there. Its only like 10 days away from 10 years, and here you go with this shit. Why should a mosque be built with taxpayer money? If there is extra money going in to the government, then how about we lower taxes?

In Sea-Tac Washington and in other cities specifically near Airports you do not have the same private property rights as someone living elsewhere, also should a city be able to tell you can grow a vegetable garden in your front yard? there have been several cases of people getting major fines because their front yard included what the city did not define as an ornamental flower bed, Do you understand that under our current laws you have to ask the government permission to marry, permission to marry, permission to marry.... get the point?

Got news for y'all....Ron Paul is a Liberal. In fact, I'm a Liberal. I'm anti-war, I'm anti-police state, I'm for personal accountability. You know...everything that is anathema to what you FUCKING NEO-CONS CALL "CONSERVATIVE" AS ALL YOU FUCKING WANT TO DO IS KILL FOREIGNERS AND BUILD EMPIRE!!!!

And Obama is neo-con...ask any Libyan or Afghani...or any pot grower that's been busted within the last few years.

We deserve everything we get.

How do you feel about skinheads or the John Birch Society? Do you feel that neo-nazis have a right to march down the street in full "brown shirt" regalia chanting "Death to Niggers!"?

i hate it, but we have to allow them and people like WBC to do their thing.

i'd like to see it be done at their own peril, as i feel some of their utterances fall under 'fighting words', but they get police protection because without it they would sue the town into bankruptcy.

thank goodness for people like the patriot guard riders and others who shield the families from their ugliness.

that said, i do feel it is perfectly constitutional to limit where their free speech may be exercised, to some extent, as was done in arizona by jan brewer (who i hate mightily).

so, you favor denying property rights and first amendment rights to a group of muslims who want to worship peacefully?

when i got married, the process of doing the paperwork took all of 5 minutes and we did not even have to present ID, oddly enough.

as for the flower beds, some cities have ordinances against what you can or can not display in your front yard. this is to protect property values, mainly. the great thing about this is that it goes along with everything ron paul believers want: control at the most local level possible.

ron paul worshippers are constantly telling me that abortion should be a states' rights kind of issue, and if you disagree, just move to another state. well, this is even more local. if you don't like it, you only have to move to the next town over. or you could even petition the city or vote or whatever else to change the rules. problem?

So what you're saying here is that you tend to align yourself with those "right wingers" that would love nothing more than to curtail "Free Speech" because they "hate it"...just as you do, right? I don't suppose you get where I'm coming from, do ya UB? That's OK though...I see that a lot. Dichotomy...heh. ;)

For the record...I hate it too. But here's where you and I differ....I UNDERSTAND THE HATRED AND FEAR....I was once called an OAKIE and had my windows busted out by rocks and our tires slashed....By "dirty" Mexicans. ;) **grin**
