Okay, maybe I was a little exuberant in my accusation. I apologize. You are not stealing the money, you are receiving stolen money. The theft ring is everywhere money is taken thru coercive means. So, it's pretty much omnipresent.

For all you know, whatever money you get for whatever you do may have been taken at gunpoint the day before. Most taxpayers are in favor of government funding for research, so I'm fine with it. Either way, I'm not quitting my job.
