RollitUp *FIRST* 2'x2.5'x5' 400wHPS SCRoG

So my new space i measured out is going to be 22dx58wx63t inches of course. so like 2x5x6ft ish?

is 550wHPS going to cover well enough?

should i cut a hole in the ceiling to cool the 400???

Lookin great m8!
How many plants are going in that space?
I don't know for sure about the light, but I would think it would cover pretty well.

two plants.

i'm going to have to LST them like krazzie. probably a 6 weeks vegg.

marta has to finish before i can move both of them in there.

i'm going to try to SCRoG up the walls a bit and maybe angle the lighting somewhat

mostly concerned about the ventilation. still working on that. bongsmilie

How many lumens does it say this 550 puts out?

LxW = Square footage so 2x5 would be 10 sq ft.
Take the lumen number and divide. (example a normal 400w light puts out 50k lumens, 50,000/10 = 5000k LpSqFt - Pretty good for that area)
From what i read, 3000 LpSqF (lumems per square foot) to 7000 is key.

I would cut a hole in the ceiling if i were you. Heat rises, putting it so high allows the heat to effortlessly go upward. Dont know if it helps the fans much, but i would say its logical. Also, venting that hot air into the attic allows the air to cool down before it escapes through the eves or fan u have in the attic. Making it much harder to detect with a IR scan.

Wow lot's of posts I missed.
That sucks about the island but glad to hear you're out.
I don't believe in the millitary..

Man I feel so bad.. I knocked off one of the six tops on my L.Skunk..
So she's going to be a 5 top beast instead of 6.. Sad day.
But w/e she'll still have 5 fatty tops, and they'll all just be that much fatter.
+ I stuck the knocked off top in a jiffy pellet. Hope it lives..

Your girls look great, I wish I could fit a setup like yours. Mine is such a tiny little personal thing to look at.
I would advise against cutting anything else off the flowering plant.
