Rolling a Joint, YouTube Videos...

I have been looking at some vids on YouTube showing how to roll a basic joint. In some they mix a cigarette into the weed, and sometimes they scrape what looks like a black crayon into the mix.

Question?

What is the black stuff?
What is the purpose of it?
Do you cut your pot with cigarettes?
If so what is the ratio?

heres a thought put all weed in and no tobacco

from what i understand the tobacco is added to joints, ( mainly overseas) because their shit is just that strong. I believe it might be dutch weed

ok i live in europe you put cigarette tobacco into the weed so it cools it as it burns really hot also the brown stuff was probably hashish (hash)
