I like the symbiotic beings. People could be transported between planets in their solar system.
So I have had a grand idea for a while now. Ill share it here.
Its a momentum based transportation system. The fact that we get on things that stop and go is just fucking retarded. Its much more efficient when everything moves and continues, and the larger masses we get moving efficiently we can just keep adding momentum to the system, "topping it off" to keep it going, like a big push, supplied via solar or whatever.
We could have im thinking more of a marble on a launch ramp type transportation device. It then has guidence system while in the air. Upon landing it goes into some sort of funnel device and then the people are transfered out somehow into a terminal trasporter while the main huge mass marble trasnporter is still continuing with lots of momentum it goes down a nice curve, is somehow loaded with more people, and then shot out, and perhaps caught by a pinwheel type device.
