RODI / Water

Hey all,

I'm not a complete newbie but still have only a few grows under my belt.
I recently bought a home that is under a private well.

I have an aquatic life RODI system. My question is, is this really needed? Is there more benefit to well water then with municipal water?

I have read that the biggest thing with water from a city source is Chlorine and Chloramine. My water does produce the classic sulfur smell, however, I recently read a study that shows that hydrogen sulfide actually helps boost yields.

I have Culligan coming this weekend to perform a free water testing, hoping this provides enough information.

Equipment:

(3) 5 gallon pots
4' x 7' AC infinity grow tent
AC infinity inline fan T4
Mars Hydro TSL - 2000
Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients (Tri Pack) GROW, MICRO, BLOOM

You don't need DI. If you need RO depends on water hardness.

You must be talking about ACI's
4 x 4 x 6.5 tent... you should have 480 watts or more to flower a 4 x 4. I'd also want the T6 fan, plus circulation fan(s).

I actually have a T6 as well, just at a different location.
I can use the T6 as exhaust, T4 as active ventilation?

The tent is actually AC infinity 4x2x7ft. (Yes, its actually 7 foot, instead of 6) when I got the tent, AC infinity was going to transition into 7 foot tents and someone in the warehouse packaged the wrong one.

I messaged customer support for the clarification. I still can't find them on the market and this was purchased a little over a year ago. Guess you can say I got lucky! although I would prefer more width, the height difference helped.

With that being said, do you think the TSL2000 for the 4x2 is adequate enough, as opposed to needing 300W for a 4x4?

thanks for the reply.

My bad on the tent size. 300w and T4 are fine for a 4x2. It's just that a bigger fan at lower speed makes less noise.
