Got a great shot of some of the visible micro herd. If you zoom in they kind of remind me of those cartoon drawings of sea monkeys.
I love those little critters!

I don't know I haven't identified them. They are in all my pots and worm bins, so I think they are good guys.are those springtails?

yeah I did a picture search and found some from reliable sources that looked like yours and were identified as springtails. Though in sketches they also have this little, yeah, springtail haha, on under their buttpart, can't see those in your pic.I don't know I haven't identified them. They are in all my pots and worm bins, so I think they are good guys.
If they are springtails, yep you've got some nice composters there

I tried a while back to get more specific, but there are so many species apparently that it would be overkill to attempt that
So anything with that shape, different shades of brown, reddish, darkish, and all the way to almost white - as long as they're crawling around on the soil : good guys! Always happy when I notice a population surge in my wormbin

This is another Critical Jack Herrer, the last one in flower for now. This one is in 20g of recycled organic living soil.
This clone went straight into the 20 gallon pot. I won't do that again because it grew too tall too fast and I couldn't keep the growth controlled like I do when graduating pots from 1g to 3g to 20g.
This plant is done at 10 weeks but with the co2 staying high they just keep growing.

Here's a little one called Black Jack in 5g of rols. I let this plant veg forever, it just wouldn't grow up. For that reason I did not clone it again.
I was pleasantly surprised at harvest because it had very dense frosty buds.

Here's the peppers, cantolope and tomato plants.
They grew up out of the worm castings. Amazing the seed made it through the freezer, the food processor, and the worm pot.

None of those would kill them as effectively as hot composting; they germinate and immediately get eaten/composted.

This Raspberry Diesel clone took nicely to the 1g pot, no wilt.
It was rooted with a touch of Clonex in a 16oz solo cup.

I used to root clones in a cloner but I got tired of cleaning the cloners (Daisy 8 spot and an EZ Clone 30 spot) so I just use cups now, easier to change the water a few times as they root and easier to clean with a bit of bleach afterwards.
