can you grow in a flood system using nothing but 1/4in rockwool cubes. just alot of them? i need hydroton but where i live its almost impossible to find and really expensive, any suggestions?

i say you can, but cover the table as the hydroton protects roots from the lighting.

they sell covers or you could use anything that blocks light.

You can find it on E-Bay. That is where I get all my stuff. No hydro stores less than 2 hrs. from where I live. Just be decreet(SP) and use cash or money orders. If possible us a friends address for deliveries. Though I have never had a problem.

By the way I use a drip system and have always used rockwool through out the whole grow. Just the way I was taught. lol
