Rockwool showing mold

I am starting to see a lot of mold on just some of the rockwool. They have been in a humidity dome for about 2 weeks. Clones and seedlings. My question is, is there something that I am doing to cause this and is there anything I can to to fix it?

Yeah, I have some experiece on what to do.

I merely covered it up with something. That is i put a peice of cardboard with a hole in it over the cube and in a few days the green stuff died. It needs light to survive.

Dont worry, but watch out for fungus knats. They love the green for their eggs. Just cover the parts exposed to light. Dont pour anything like h202 on the cubes!

good luck/

I never worked with mylar but as long as light does not get through it then that would work.

The algae comes from light, no light no more ability to live and in few days death.
