Hey people im using them A-OK starter plugs/rockwoll cubes. and i germinate the seeds then put them in the wet cubes under a light, all my plants have grown, but no roots are showing in the dirt...

My question and concern are. will them starter cubes make the plant go root bound?
And i've read about people having to rip there cubes apart so the plant would continue growing through it.
Anyone have these problems?

this is my first year using them.

Let me see, no the starter plugs will not make your plant root bound. I use a different medium, cow pots but it's all the same. Once the plant is strong enough you just plant it all in your pot. The roots will grow through the starter plugs into the pot of soil.

Oh, once your plant is ready to transplant, if your really worried you can soak the starter plug with the plant in it for a couple of min's which will help the disintegration of the plug. But don't soak to long you don't want to over water the plant.
Really you need to read the instructions that came with the plugs and it will explain ever thing I'm saying.
Always good to do your research.
