Is Jock Horror just a rip off of Jack Herer? I've always wondered where the name came from.
essentially yes.

Jock Horror: Skunk x Haze x Northern Lights (Nirvana)
Jack Herer: Skunk #1 X Northern Lights #5 X Haze (Sensi)

well, you sound alot like me :bigjoint: my mother always said I tried to do things the most difficult way  Si SE PUEDE!!

yes you CAN, but for a newb I'd suggest trying something that will stand a better chance of it finishing (even in texas) for a first grow. Haven't grown jock yet, but I thought they said it was a 11 week flower strain. I always assume with long flowering sativas that the breeders tend to underestimate (or lie about) flowering times. Not always I know.

turns out he's a texan too so he could do it here for sure. LOTS of copters around here lately (hill country) keep that shit hidden! Buenas suerte Dude!

Yeah Jock Horror is a rip or nirvana's version of jack herer for copyright reasons i think. Someone told me they knew someone that worked at nirvana and said they buy seeds from seni and cross them b/c of copyright reasons. Hence other strains like ak-48. I personally don't know though.

Grew some ppp and it was awesome. I'm on snow white and jock horror right now.
