Has anyone here made a legitimate friend(s) from this community I feel like its a big step to convert from an e-friend to a human but I'm willing to take the risk im located somewhere in mass and about to meet up with some massholes this weekend call me 'ignant' but I have faith in this community

If you dont hear from me in a while it's because I'm consumed with trying to not drop the soap

my town is small and ive met someone in college that used riu but we didnt realize until after he made a thread and such but we then realized he was who he was if that makes sense

I met my boyfriend Tip Top here and I'm currently snuggled on his couch waiting for him to come home!!!

I'd really like to meet more of you in person. There are some people here I can genuinely say I Love and would like to spend time and smoke with them <3

i havent met anyone on here that lives near me.... that i know of. there are some really cool peeps here but i can be travelin just to kick it. but im there for the first RIU community convention!

i talk to a few people outside of the boards on a personal level whom i'd consider very good friends, just 2 people for the most part, but i've yet to meet any of them in the real world and they both live no where near me..
i'd have no issues ever meeting them in person, and think it would be awesome, just hasn't happened is all i'm saying.. :D

There are a few Michigan people I'd like to meet up with and pass around some of our hard work, but it hasn't happened yet. I have made some real friends on a dog breed specific site/forum I hang out on. Thats a little different then the basis with which we all are into here though. No real risk with that lol.

On the whole I would say that RIU is not Facebook. However, I've already met someone thru the site. He's a fellow Brit and he introduced himself to me on my outdoor thread (Fullness). He had some plant probs so I made him a Pyrthrum spray and met him at my friends seed shop. We're mates now and we text each other.

Ive already met the most compulsive liar in my life on this site and I could really tell u some funny stories!!

As a woman you have to be more cautious then say a couple of guys meeting up for a beer and a smoke. Most know that I'm a legal grower and I've always offered to help members with Association info if they come here to Barcelona. They'd have to meet me at the club though, where my guys are around!
