RIU, Choose my next Strain - Voting is open!

******************Round 1**********************************

I have given the responsibility of choosing my next strain to the members of Rollitup. I asked for 20 strain suggestions from our members who kindly gave their input.

Out of those 20, I removed 10 that either I didn't feel I could acquire easily enough or didn't have any interest in growing out.

I will have this pole open for 24 hours. at this time tomorrow the voting will be closed and the bottom 5 strains will be removed and a new pole will be created. 24 hours of voting and then we remove the bottom 2 performs.

The final 3 strains will be put up for vote for the final 24 hours and the winner will be ordered immediately and I will begin my grow journal.

If you want to see one of these strains grown out by an experienced grower, by all means, please vote and let your opinion be heard.

I would also like discussino about all of these strains and what people have found, links to images etc...

The plants will be flowered under 600w HPS in a 4x4.7.5 tent.w

I don't believe that I have either. A lot of these are actually new to me so I'm pretty excited. The seeds will be ordered within 24 hours of the completion of this contest and I will keep an updated journal on the grow.

There are a zillion strains out there these days and living in so cal as a medical patient I can get my hands on endless #'s of strains. That's why I wanted it to come down to what members on here wanted to see. I'm no longer going to add any more candidates to the list as I know that I can play this game trying to choose forever. I need a decision to be made and I want it done quickly so I can get to vegging. I'm 22 days into flower in my current batch so I need to get moving to get my veg room under way and get these things off and running.

Thanks for the suggestion, maybe someday in the future.

Well I did vote for Fucking Incredible, I want to see what that bad boy looks like

I read an article a couple months ago when they interviewed the owner if VISC and he loves that stuff so when the owner likes it you know it going to be good

I will veg these seeds as long as it takes, but at least 4-5 weeks. Really depends on the strain and a few other factors. I would like to get these ordered by Monday and if I'm lucky here by the following week. Then they'll get germinated and off and going. My flower tent won't be available until for at least 45-50 days from that point. I also use it to hang my buds, so they'll get a good long healthy veg.

Depending on the seeds they may get a little extra time while I take cuttings from each to determine sex. I don't put them into my flower room until I know they are all females. That way my flower room can be filled properly.

Where are you going to get your fucking incredible from if it wins? You do know that Vancouver Seed bank does not ship to the US right?

It's hard to really say what the average yield per plant has been in my past. I have grown using soil and hydro, 600w, 400w, 250w, CFL's, I've done long veg's, no veg's, SCROG's (as I'm doing currently), so averaging it out would be pretty difficult.

I like to try different methods and different setups as I only grow for my own smoke. If something really blows and is a terrible idea and I hate it it doesn't destroy me financially or harm me at all really. I have enough around to get by for awhile from my previous grows.

The last grow I did was 7 plants and I got 13oz's. I should've used 9 or 10 plants or veg'ed another week or two as the space wasn't quite filled. It was the first time growing in this tent and I didn't want to overfill it.

This time I'm doing a SCROG and again didn't want to overfill it so again I didn't quite fill the space.

In regards to getting Fucking Incredible in the states I figured I would order from kindseed.com. I have read alot of good things about them and I'm willing to give it a try. I promise to do everything in reason to try to get the strain that wins. I'm not sure it's going to be FI, but if it is I'll start with kindseed.com.

Alright , about 5 hours remaining in Round 1. We're getting some votes in and this is a strong list so let's see how it turns out. We're removing the bottom 5 performers here and if there's a tie I'll make the choice.

Damn.....I didn't know it was like THAT. This Fucking Incredible must be something special to gather so many votes. I figured that this being an elimination challenge people would eventually figure out that they may well be throwing away their votes by voting for the Fucking Incredible. The top 5 will remain and a new vote cast so I think FI is in!

A little tasty tidbit....I will be using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A + B as well as Big Bud and Overdrive. I do not use Bud Blood.
